14 White CEVA Qualifier Results

The 14’s White team had a great first tournament.  We started off the day well with two wins and ended with three tough losses.  Although the record for the day did not reflect success, the girls made great strides as a team.  The girls showed mental toughness and a fighting spirit by coming back from a 6-19 deficit to make the end score 19-25.  Carly Howard’s terrific serving was all the momentum the girls needed to pick up their game.  Our last match ended in an emotional 13-15 loss in the third set.  Overall, the girls exceeded my expectations in their team cohesion, energy and performance.  Aubrey and myself are looking forward to working more with this great group of girls and can’t wait to see what they achieve this season.  We are excited to see what happens in the next tournament!
